The most prominent problem with bitcoin are the companies that are representing this technology. These companies identify themselves as a trading / payment platform and are leaving out the fundamental element that will ignite loyalty amongst their users.

Their main motivation has been to blatantly provide a service, whilst disregarding the philosophy of creating a raving fan culture.

A marketing message from them sounds like 'buy and sell bitcoin', this has been a common narrative since the inception of bitcoin.

Their platforms lack simplicity and substance, and takes weeks for an average person to understand.
